Kumul Petroleum National Soccer League manager, Leslie Babaga, said the transfer window would be opened for only a week and closes on March 16th, 2019.
He added that the Kumul Petroleum NSL office is calling on the clubs to start making arrangements for players’ transfer rather than leaving it for later.
The PNG Football Association and the Kumul Petroleum NSL board are confident all transfers will be done transparently to ensure all parties concerned benefit.
Babaga says he wants to see a professional approach taken in the process.
He is also calling on clubs to respect each other and formalise all requests for players’ transfers by going through the right channels and procedures.
The competition will also go into recess this weekend and will resume with the second half on March 23.
However, exception is made for the NGI conference, who will play their end of round one this weekend and will go for break on March 23 and resume on March 30.
Northern Conference will play their five washout matches during the break.
Babaga said NSL will give two weeks’ extension of payment for affiliation fees up till Saturday 23 March.
“All affiliation fees should be paid in full by the mentioned date before the second round of the competition begins,” said Babaga.
