The team travelled to Australia on Friday in preparation for their first match of the 2019 Intrust Super Cup season.
This morning, the boys trained under the watchful eyes of assistant coach Nigel Hukula and strength and conditioning coach, Solomon Kuliniasi.
Former SP Hunters and current Melbourne Storms player, Justin Olam, was on ground to witness the boys’ session, where he wished them the best for this season and encouraged them to pursue their dreams.
Five debutants will be taking the field tomorrow. And they are Joe Joshua, who becomes Hunter No. 67, Brendon Nima (68), Gairo Kapana (69), Daniel Tapol (70) and Junior Rop (71).
The round 1 match against Tweed Heads Seagulls will be televised live on TVWAN Plus at 1.45pm tomorrow.
